80s Dance Party to support CASA for Kids, Inc.

Back by popular demand, a 1980s theme will set the stage for a night of great food and drink, fellowship and fun at the February 4, 2017, CASA for Kids Annual Children’s Charity Event! Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite 1980s movie characters, rock stars, or pop culture icons.  Attendees will enjoy a full buffet, open bar, the excitement of silent and live auctions and a totally awesome dance party!  The event will be held at the Payne County Expo Center with doors opening at 6:00 p.m.

Event sponsors include ENBRIDGE, Metro First Realty, and University & Community Federal Credit Union to name a few.  Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available. Corporate and Friends tables can also be purchased for reserved seating.  General admission is $75 per person.  Registration is available on the CASA for Kids website at www.casaforkids.com or by calling 405-624-2242.

CASA for Kids is collecting donations of items, experiences, services, gift certificates, etc. from area businesses and individuals to include in the live and silent auctions, and to serve as prizes.

The CASA for Kids fundraising event raises approximately 20% of the annual operating budget for CASA in Payne and Logan Counties.  Financial support generated by this event has a direct impact on our local community.  The money raised will stay within Payne and Logan Counties to aid in the recruitment and support of our growing volunteer base.  Every abused child deserves to have a CASA volunteer in their corner.

There are 340 abused and neglected children in the CASA for Kids service area that need a CASA volunteer.  CASA volunteer trainings take place five times a year, with the next class beginning August 8.  To become a volunteer, or to support CASA financially, please contact Ruth Cavins, Executive Director, at 405-624-2242 or email [email protected].

CASA for Kids, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that recruits, screens, trains and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in juvenile deprived court.
