The City of Stillwater is now accepting artist applications for the 2017 Stillwater Arts Festival.
The festival, now in its 40th year, is scheduled for April 22 and 23, 2017 in Downtown Stillwater. The show will jury approximately 100 artists.
The City will present more than $1,400 in cash awards and ribbons the Saturday of the festival. Prizes include: best of show ($500), first place ($200), second place ($150) and third place ($100) for 2D and 3D categories.
The City is accepting applications in the following categories: oils and acrylic; watercolor; caricature; pencils, charcoal and pastels; photography; metals; glass; jewelry; pottery (thrown, hand built and sculpted); wood; fibers; and other.
An expert panel of jurors reviews entries for spaces at the annual fine arts show.

Jury Fee (non-refundable)
- $20 for all artist entries
- $140 for one 10 foot by 10 foot booth
- $240 for two 10 foot by 10 foot booths
Tent Weights (available for rent)
- $10 each
Artists are required to submit at least four images of work to be displayed and sold, and one image that represents the overall look of the booth display.
