Recently, Tan & Tone Unlimited of Stillwater hosted their very own “Biggest Loser” contest. This month’s makeover, Heather Plummer, was the winner of the competition! Heather has been a manager at McDonald’s for ten years. She and her husband, Kelly, have two boys, Wyatt and Sammy. They all live outside of Perkins on a small farm where they grow their own food, go fishing, and ride horses. After the weight loss, Heather wanted to feel pretty again. She wanted a look that will show off the new “her” and keep her focused on her weight loss goals.

Heather Gaut of LaRitz Salon & Spa had the pleasure of transforming Heather from drab to fab! Heather’s hair was shapeless and dull. Heather G. knew she needed to spruce up her overall appearance. The first step was adding some color to brighten up her hair. She chose to balayage all of her hair while leaving her natural base color. This allows a low maintenance color that will continue to look good for several weeks. Once the color was perfect, layers and face-framing were added to enhance the effortless look of the balayage highlights. It also gives Heather more body to her hair. Heather G. prepped Heather’s hair with Redken Guts on the roots and Pureology’s NEW Volumizing Duo styler. She dried her hair using a round brush to maximize fullness. A wand was used to give her hair the beachy texture. Redken’s QuickTease was used to finish the style.

Heather G. was excited to show Heather how to accentuate her already amazing brows and cheekbones. She first applied Skin Longevity (vital power infusion) all over. After letting it set, Prime Time BB primer in Light was applied to ensure a perfect foundation application. BareSkin brightening serum foundation in Bare Cream gave Heather the right amount of coverage. The NEW Bare Skin Sheer Sun serum bronzer was used for contouring and BareSkin concealer was used as a highlighter. Vintage Peach loose blush was perfect for Heather’s cheekbones. She has great brows so Heather G. accentuated them by using the Frame and Define light eyebrow pencil. The new eye color palette, Instant Attraction, was the perfect match for Heather’s eyes.  Lash Domination mascara and midnight waterproof liner finished her eyes. Heather’s lips were lined with Thrilled and glossed with Rebel. To create the airbrush look, Heather G. applied Original Mineral Veil all over her face.

Heather loves her new highlights and is excited to have a style that will look good for several weeks without being retouched.  We are all so proud of Heather’s hard work and dedication to her weight loss. We hope her look gives her the confidence to keep reaching her goals!
