Mrs. Wendy Anderson is CASA for Kids Volunteer of the Month for August 2017. Wendy has been a Guthrie resident for the past 17 years. Sworn in just six months ago, she serves four children and has already become a treasured asset to the Logan County portion of the CASA organization. When looking for an organization to volunteer with, Wendy researched CASA because of the unique way it defends and helps children in some of the most terrible times of their lives.
Wendy has been married to her husband, Barry, for 28 years. Their daughter, Katy is a recent OSU graduate, and their son Bryce just graduated from Guthrie High School, with plans to attend OSU in the fall. Wendy enjoys traveling and is very active in her community. Becoming a CASA was a natural fit. She looks forward to traveling with her husband in the fall, when they will be official empty nesters!
Our CASA volunteers appreciate their flexibility. If you have ten hours a month to make a DIFFERENCE in the life of a child, please visit www.casaforkids.com today!
