Chickasaw Telecommunications Services named Title Contributor for Boomer Blast

Media Release

The City of Stillwater announces Chickasaw Telecommunications Services, Inc. as the exclusive title contributor for this year’s Boomer Blast Fireworks Show.

Chickasaw has been a major supporter of the City’s Independence Day fireworks celebration since 2015. “As a home town provider, we take pride in serving our community,” Chickasaw Telecommunications Services representative Kimberly Stemm said. “We’ve enjoyed being a part of an event that brings the community and families together and we look forward to being a part of Boomer Blast for many years to come.”

“We know that many members of the community were disappointed that last year’s event was canceled due to COVID-19,” Special Event Coordinator Stephanie Kinder said. “While this year’s event will still have limited social activities, we hope to make up for that with a really exciting show. This year’s fireworks display will be bigger, brighter, and more spectacular than prior years and that’s something that wouldn’t be possible without the help of our contributors.”

All Boomer Blast contributions go directly toward the purchase of fireworks.

The annual event, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Sunday, July 4 in Boomer Lake Park at the corner of Washington Street and Lakeview Road. More event details to come. The City will keep residents updated through the Boomer Blast Fireworks Show special events page and official City of Stillwater social media accounts.
