Story provided by Friends of the Stillwater Community Center

What could be better than a Free Hitchcock Movie with popcorn, chocolate, and expert commentary?  Classic Cinema at the Center will present Alfred Hitchcock’s Notorious on Friday, September 10 at 7 pm in the Stillwater Community Center.  Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, and Claude Rains star in this story of romance and intrigue.  OLLI@OSU instructor, Meredith Woodruff, will deliver insights on the historic period and the espionage environment portrayed in the film. With her extensive experience in professional intelligence and incredible knowledge of history, Meredith’s comments will certainly enrich your film experience. OLLI@OSU Instructor Vickie Sturgeon will also fill you in on the cinematic aspects of Notorious.  See how Hitchcock broke the ban on kisses over three seconds with a two and a half minute smooch between Cary and Ingrid.

Free Admission, as well as free popcorn, candy and beverage.  Plenty of free parking around The Stillwater Community Center at 8th and Duck.  Notorious will be shown in the Winfrey Houston Auditorium on Friday, September 10 at 7 pm.  Join us for this special event.
