Modella Gallery is pleased to present Collective Voices exhibit which highlights the work of 14 artists expressing individual truths and finding the synergy that can emerge through collective action and collaboration with others. The exhibit runs April 18th-May 25th with a reception on Thursday, May 2nd.

This exhibition emphasizes the power of sharing commonalities, traumas, and triumphs of the human experience. Using a variety of mediums and materials, artists in the exhibition have created literal and metaphorical visualizations that emphasize the power of art to give voice to their stories, provoke questions, address silence, and create solidarity.

Collective Voices is a collaborative effort led by co-founders of Creative Advocacy, Abbey Hepner and Leslie Martin. Creative Advocacy is a multifaceted organization that promotes the work of artists through various initiatives. With a focus on art as a conduit for social change, our programming advocates for sustainable creative practices that challenge the current social structure.

Modella Gallery is a non-profit art gallery dedicated to bringing contemporary arts to Stillwater, Oklahoma. Intended to be a conduit for the arts, the gallery presents a continuing program of art exhibitions of local and national artists, visual, music and performance events, screenings, and special projects. Modella Gallery is located at 721 South Main Street in historic downtown Stillwater, OK.
