HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hello, 2019!

I’m such a sucker for the New Year. I’m all about sitting down to make a plan and write down my goals. I have my new planner ready to go and have filled it with all my regular deadlines and appointments. The kids’ activities fill up a good portion of that calendar and keep our family busy all year long. So I have to make a plan if I am going to be productive in making progress towards my goals.

What are your goals this year? Do you make resolutions? I definitely do. This year, I’m getting serious about pursuing my health goals and making time for them in the midst of the busy-ness of professional and personal pursuits. This is always a challenge in the face of the chaos of raising three teenagers. Hopefully, I will do better this year.

This issue marks the beginning of our fourth year owning Stillwater Living Magazine and the halfway point through Volume 15. As we move into the next year of Stillwater Living, we are looking for more story ideas and contributors. If you know of a student looking for a writing and/or photography internship, who would like the opportunity to build their portfolio of published work, have them send a resume and writing/photography samples to Ammie at StillwaterLiving.com. We love working with students in helping them to gain more experience in launching their careers as professionals.

And if you have an idea for a story, send it on over! Some of our best stories come from our readers’ suggestions. Thank you again for being a part of our journey with Stillwater Living. We appreciate each and every one of you!
