From the Editor (May 2019)

by Ammie Bryant

Every year, I find myself looking forward to the end of the school year almost as much as my kids do. The end of May will bring more time to relax and spend time together as a family trying new things, exploring new places, and enjoying all that makes our hometown special.

When my children were younger, I scrambled to try to find things to keep them busy during the long, quiet months of summer. I remember how challenging it was to find activities that would interest my kids. That’s why we work to create a guide to summer activities in Stillwater—to make it easier for you to track down all that Stillwater has to offer your family this summer.

In this issue we have put together a list of camps, programs, and activities for kids and their families. This is meant to serve as a starting point for your planning efforts. We know that this is by no means an all-inclusive list of what is available in Stillwater. That is why we encourage you to check our website regularly for an expanded and continuously updated version of this list. There, we will post links to these programs and more as information about additional activities become available.

It really is our hope that this guide will make your life just a little bit easier and that it might help you to discover something that will become a favorite summer memory for your child and your family this year.

Until next month, onward!
