From the Editor (October 2019)

By Ammie Bryant

Fall has always been my favorite season. With it comes pumpkin picking, comfort food, and—fingers crossed that the weather will cool off—sweaters. Speaking of pumpkin, this month Karyl Henry hit it out of the ballpark with the “gourd-geous” mini pumpkin bundt cakes on the cover. Be sure to check them out!

October has always been my favorite month, even before I moved to Stillwater as a young newlywed and became entrenched in all that a Stillwater October brings. Between craft shows, festivals, 5ks, rodeos, Homecoming, Halloween, and all the fun-filled fall events between, Stillwater really shines in the autumn.

This month my family will celebrate many birthdays, celebrations, and the 20th anniversary of my first date with my husband.  October is full of happy memories as well as opportunities to make new ones that is why we do the work of putting together our fall guide each year.  We hope you will use our annual Fall Guide to Fun to help you to find the best opportunities to make long-lasting memories with your family and friends this year.
