This month’s makeover is so exciting!
Sydney Brown is a graduate from Oklahoma State University with a major in Studio Art. She has been working at Stillwater Screenprinting and Embroidery for the past three years. She really enjoys the awesome people that she works alongside. In her spare time, Sydney goes to the gym and is involved in ballroom dancing. She has been featured in this article before but she continued changing her look every few months so we thought it would be cool if we showed some of her transformations.
In the beginning, Sydney started out with medium length hair and faded violet-brown color. She knew that she would eventually want to do a short, platinum pixie, but wanted to have a little fun before that. During her initial appointment, Brooklyn Lane shaved off Sydney’s hair on the back and sides, but kept the top longer so that a fun color could be applied. Brooklyn used vibrant pink and purple to completely change Sydney’s look. From then on, Sydney was excited to change her hair color often. At her second appointment, Brooklyn shortened up the top and dyed it sapphire blue. She kept this color for a few months. Finally, Sydney was ready to take the plunge and cut her hair even shorter and color it platinum blonde. Brooklyn cut Sydney’s hair before coloring it. After her hair was lightened completely, Brooklyn chose an icy blonde toner to use. Sydney and Brooklyn were both very excited when the color was finished.
To complete Sydney’s new look, Baby Phares used bareMinerals to do a full face makeup application. She started by matching up Sydney’s skin tone to the perfect foundation. Once that was determined, Baby prepped her skin with PrimeTime original. She then used Complexion Rescue gel-cream foundation to create a dewy glow on Sydney’s skin. Baby then applied an Original Foundation all over for added coverage. To create a subtle smoky eye, Baby used the Bare Naturals 8.0 eye palette. Lash Domination liquid eyeliner was the perfect tool for making a “cat eye”. Universal Dark eyebrow pencil enhanced Sydney’s brows. Invisible Bronze was used for contouring and Invisible Glow was the highlighter. Baby applied Ready Blush to Sydney’s cheeks. To complete the look, Baby used Lash Domination mascara and Mineral Veil.
