Richelle Fisher is our feature for the September issue. Richelle is currently a part-time manager at Gym One Fitness. She is also attending the Accounting Program at Oklahoma State University this fall. Richelle and her husband, Gavin, have been in Stillwater for almost ten years. Gavin is a welder and foreman at Wheeldock. They have two handsome American Staffordshire Terriers, Boss and Butch, who keep them very busy. Richelle enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, and family time.
Richelle has been Brooklyn’s client at LaRitz for over three years. She hadn’t had her hair done in several months. The last time Brooklyn had colored her hair, it was a bright red. As you can see in the before picture, her color had faded and grown out about six inches. Richelle always lets Brooklyn have creative freedom with her hair and this appointment was no different. She wanted to go significantly lighter and quite a bit shorter. Although Richelle had new growth, her ends still had underlying pigment that was exposed during the lightening process. Precise application was very important in achieving an even toned result. Brooklyn used a combination of balayage, babylights, and traditional foiling to create this look. After the lightening process was complete, Brooklyn added the desired tone with a color depositing conditioning gloss. Redken’s Shades EQ gloss also adds amazing shine. Once the color was done, Brooklyn cut over seven inches from Richelle’s length and added layers for texture and movement. Before blow drying, Brooklyn applied Redken’s Anti-Snap leave-in treatment. Once the hair was 100% dry, Redken’s Iron Shape, heat protecting spray, was spritzed all over before being curled with the Bio Ionic GoldPro smoothing iron. To define the curls, Brooklyn chose Wind Tossed, texture finishing spray, from Pureology.
Richelle said that her friends and family LOVED the change! Everyone thinks that the new blonde hue looks great with her ivory skin. She continues to receive compliments from friends and strangers!
