Luann Terrel is this month’s makeover. She is a new guest of LaRitz Salon & Spa. Luann is retired and likes spending her time shopping and going on beach vacations. She is married and has four children and six grandchildren.
When Luann first sat in Candice’s chair, she had a multitude of colors in her hair. Three inches of gray at the new growth, brassy red and faded golden blonde throughout the ends. Luann likes warm colors but knew it needed to be revamped altogether. Candice chose a copper-red color that is specifically formulated for gray coverage. Bright blonde highlights and a few dark copper-red lowlights were also foiled throughout all of Luann’s hair. This created the perfect dimensional color for the fall season. Candice also dramatically changed Luann’s haircut. She cut several inches off, creating a classic bob shape but with modern texturizing techniques. Wispy bangs were the perfect finishing touch. When her hair was still damp, Candice used a combination of Pureology’s Clean Volume Weightless Mousse and Smooth Perfection Style Shaping Gel. Candice used multiple round brushes to dry and a smoothing iron to create beautiful waves.
Stylist Kassi Bock, touched up Luann’s makeup using all bareMinerals. Kassi matched Luann’s skin tone to a shade in barePro liquid foundation. After applying that all over, Kassi used Pink Me Up blush on the apples of Luann’s cheeks. Queen Phyllis powder eyeshadow was placed all over the lower lid while Queen Tiffany was used in the crease and outer corners. Lash Domination mascara and Hustler lipstick completed her new look.
