Samantha Starsnic is a junior at Oklahoma State University. She is working towards a degree in Human Science with an option of Early Childhood Education with a minor of American Sign Language. Currently, Samantha works at the Child Development Laboratory on campus and she is a nanny in her free time. Samantha and her family are originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her father just retired from the military after serving twenty years. Samantha’s mother works in childcare and her brother is also at OSU pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree. She loves animals. She owns a German Shepard mix, a Pitbull mix, and a Russian Blue cat. Samantha also enjoys drawing, painting, and taking photographs of nature and her animals. She likes to hike at the Wichita Wildlife Refuge.
Samantha is a new guest at our salon company but a returning guest to one of our newest stylists, Cameron Frizell. When Samantha came in, her hair color was a medium brown natural level with existing balayage throughout the ends. The ends were a very warm tone and Samantha wanted to go for an icy, silver look throughout her ends. The first step in getting Samantha to her desired color was to do a full balayage application. Redken’s FlashLift with pH Bonder inside was chosen for the lifting agent to maintain the integrity of Samantha’s hair. After lifting her to the perfect lightness, Cameron mixed four different toners to achieve the icy silver color. After Cameron trimmed Samantha’s hair, she first applied Redken’s Anti Snap on damp hair and followed with Pureology’s Smooth Perfection Smoothing Serum. Cameron then blow dried Samantha’s hair and added some bouncy curls. Pureology’s Hydrate Shine Max was the final product chosen to add shine and definition.
