Allison Harris is this month’s beautiful makeover. She works full time at Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services as the Childcare Worker Advocate. Allison loves shopping, cleaning, and spending time with her family, friends, and new kitten. Her mother has had an in-home daycare in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for over twenty years. Allison said that she learned everything she knows about kids from her mother. They have a very close relationship.
When Allison came into the salon for her appointment, she had beautiful natural red hair. She had made the decision to change up her color this time, instead of just doing her regular trim. Stylist Cameron Frizzell wanted to give Allison exactly what she wanted. With Allison’s hair being natural red and it being her first time doing a balayage, Cameron knew she only wanted to give Allison a subtle change. This would allow Allison to be comfortable but still receive a beautiful new look. When the balayage was lifted to the desired lightness, Cameron applied a gloss to the blonde to enhance the tone and add shine. To continue a healthy look and feel, Cameron trimmed Allison’s hair all over. To style, Cameron first applied Pureology’s Colour Fanatic, Redken’s Pillow Proof Primer spray, and All Soft Hydromelt to Allison’s damp hair. A paddle brush was then used while blow drying for smoothness. After Allison’s hair dried, Cameron added beachy curls for texture. The waves were set with Redken’s Wax Blast finishing spray for medium hold and separation.
Allison loves her new look. She couldn’t wait to reserve her next appointment and add an after picture on her Instagram story!
