Oklahoma State University is excited to announce that President Kayse Shrum is bringing OSU alumna, aviation professional and recent Blue Origin space crew member Mary Wallace “Wally” Funk to Stillwater.

The event, which is open to the public, will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts.

Funk will speak about her life’s journey, including her time as a member of the Flying Aggies at OSU, her career in aviation documented in the Netflix special Mercury 13 and her experience with Amazon founder and executive chairman Jeff Bezos aboard the recent Blue Origin flight to space, which made her the oldest woman in history to go to space.

Masks are expected. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on OStateTV.
