If you have been following our articles in this magazine, you know we try to bring our customers the latest and greatest in the DIY world.  We have everything from chalk type paint, stencils, image transfers, and furniture stamps. We are always on the hunt for new products.  We have recently added another product to our paint line. We are so excited to introduce Fusion Mineral Paint!

Right now we carry twenty-eight colors from the Fusion Mineral Paint line.  We also offer more products from that line such as metallic paint, beeswax distressing block, ultra grip and concealer.  The ultra grip is used as a primer for tricky slick surfaces such as laminate and highly glossed wood. The concealer is great for taking a dark color to a lighter color.

We know that “chalk-type” is everywhere.  Here at Nook and Cranny, we are always happy to help customers with any questions or concerns they may have. Customer service is our mission and we will gladly walk you through the steps you need to finish your project and have a happy outcome.

Fusion Mineral Paint has an acrylic base, which is different from the chalk-based products we carry from Heirloom Tradition Paint. The mineral paints are highly pigmented and have a protective coating built in (like a nail polish).  Fusion Mineral Paint is perfect for creating a satin finish with minimal prep work. The paint is self-leveling and covers dark surfaces in two to three coats. It also distresses easily, if done before it is completely dry.  This paint can also be used for outdoor purposes, such as front doors and benches.

Nowadays, different projects and looks can call for different type paints. If you want a chippy look, we suggest using our paint from the Heirloom Traditions line. If you are going for a sleeker look, Fusion would be perfect for that.
