It’s that time of year again! Payne County Free Fair begins next week, August 28-September 2, 2017 with the carnival held August 30-September 3. All the information you need about the fair including entry forms, fliers, the fair guide, and hours of operation can be found at the Payne Expo Center website.
Tuesday, August 29, 2017 is Entry Day for all entries except livestock and plants and flowers. The Fair office opens at 8am at the Payne County Expo Center.
On Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 8am the fair will official begin and the fair office will be open. There is plenty to see and do every day all week long. You can view the full official schedule of events in the Payne County Fair Guide at this link.
Because we know that some of our visitors may just be looking for the hours that the exhibit buildings and carnival are open, below you will find a quick open/close schedule for the exhibit buildings and carnival ONLY.
Wednesday, August 30, 2017 6pm-10pm: Exhibit Hall and Booths open for viewers.
Thursday, August 31, 8am-10pm: Exhibit Buildings and booths open. 6pm-10pm Ottaway Amusement Rides open.
Friday, September 1, 8am-10pm: Exhibit Buildings and booths open. 6pm-10pm Ottaway Amusement Rides open.
Saturday, September 2, 8am-10pm: Exhibit Buildings and booths open. 6pm-10pm Ottaway Amusement Rides open. Fair officially ends at 10pm.
Sunday, September 3, 6pm-10pm: Ottaway Amusement Rides open. Amusement rides close for the final time.
