Organizers are offering a 1-mile fun run, 5K, and 10K race for participants.  The fun run will begin at 9:00am, and the 5K and 10K will begin about 9:15am.  The 5K and 10K races will be timed by Manhattan Running Company using Chronotrack Live Race Services.  The course is sanctioned by USA Track and Field and participants will run around and through the OSU campus (maps are posted on the website).  In its 10th year, the Remember the Ten Run is expected to draw close to 2,500 participants and close to 200 volunteers.  All participants and volunteers will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medallion.  Professional photography and other entertainment will also be provided.ribbons500

Proceeds from the Remember the Ten Run benefit OSU Counseling Services.  The Run has provided $180,000 to date and expects to donate another $20,000 after the conclusion of the 10th annual run.  In addition, proceeds will help fund the Remember the Ten Run Memorial Scholarship Program.  At the 2016 race, organizers will announce the 5th cohort of scholarship winners.  The students selected are enrolled in 1 of 4 degree programs, with an emphasis on grief counseling.

Registration is now open and the cost to participate is $20 for the Fun Run, and $35 for the 5K or 10K.  The executive committee will be offering packet pick up in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Stillwater the week leading up to the race.  For more information, and to find out how to participate, volunteer, or contribute, please go to the website, www.RememberTheTen.com, or keep updated with the run on FaceBook and Twitter.
