“Revolutions” exhibit opening at Modella Gallery

PSYCHling for Connection by Pamela Richmond

Story provided by Modella Art Gallery

Modella Gallery is pleased to present Revolutions exhibit March 12, 2020 to April 18, 2020 in conjunction with the MidSouth 100 ride. The opening reception will be on Thursday, March 12th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The theme for this exhibit centers on the word revolution and the definition relating to the bicycle; the revolution of the bicycle wheel as rider pushes on through the journey. This gave the artists the opportunity to create artwork that connected themselves and the viewer to the bicycle. For many, the bicycle can evoke a sense of freedom, a mindful experience, something solitary, a sense of accomplishment, reflection on childhood and a mode of transportation.

Artists that will be exhibiting are Ryan Addis, Sally Bousquet, Todd Frye, Brittany Hadley, Calli Heflin, Matt Jeffery, Jena Kodesh, Kris Luber, Mary Lytle, Brian Mitchell, Shelley Mitchell, Ronnie Pinkston, Pamela Richmond, Mo Wassell, Ron Walker and Clark Woodfin.
