The Sheerar Museum Board of Trustees is Puttin’ on the Ritz in support of the Sheerar Museum of Stillwater History. Proceeds from the event will benefit the operations of the museum. Puttin’ on the Ritz will take place Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 5 p.m at The Backstage located at 110 7th Ave. Tickets are $75 each and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at the museum during normal business hours; Tuesday–Friday 11a.m- 5 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday 1-4 p.m.Or you may purchase your tickets online.
The menu will be inspired by the jazz age, and live music will be played by 5th Edition Jazz. This event is sponsored in part by The Backstage, Stillwater Medical Center Foundation, Brown’s Bottle Shop, and matching funds from the Winfrey D. Houston Family trust.
Puttin’ on the Ritz and other fundraising efforts allows the Sheerar Museum to be open free to the public. Located at 702 S. Duncan Street, the museum is a great resource for people of all ages to come and learn about Stillwater’s history.
