Town & Gown Theatre’s 65th season comes to a close this month with its production of “Into the Woods.” The story follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King’s Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. A Witch’s curse left the Baker and his wife childless, and they set off on a journey to break it. Everyone’s wish is granted, but there are consequences. The play is based on the book by James Lapine and with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Opening night is Wednesday, June 15. Play times are 7:30pm Wednesday-Saturday, and 2:30pm Sunday. The final performance will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2016.
