Steven recently attended a Stillwater High School Reunion and found out nearly forty percent of the Stillwater High School Students were in need of support for personal items such as clothing and other resources to help them flourish as successful students.  He decided that the time to do something for these students is NOW and with his expertise in entertainment and organizational management he has organized a Variety Show fundraiser to help raise awareness of our local student needs.

This fundraiser, will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019, 7 p.m., at the Stillwater High School Performing Arts Center.  The Schedule of Events includes performances by the SHS Choir, SHS Orchestra, SHS Band and SHS Theater, the latter providing skits between acts and a presentation before Intermission.  After Intermission Seven Lindsey will present a comedic program as a precursor to Oklahoma’s own Andy Hogan, born on Tulsa’s East side, graduating from East Central High School, He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northeastern State University.  He went to Claremore, OK in 1975 as Claremont Elementary School Principal- a post he held for (21) years.

Andy Hogan is the official tour guide and presenter at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore, OK. While he does not impersonate Will Rogers, he does a highly entertaining presentation about the life and values of Will Rogers. His years of experience speaking to thousands of people has given him a unique perspective on the life and values of Will Rogers.

There is no cost to attend the event; however, donation buckets will be passed throughout the audience at Intermission for those individuals wanting to support the mission of the Stillwater High School pantry in providing needed items to local students. Volunteers for the event will be Stillwater High School SMAC and Oklahoma State University student volunteers.

The event is dedicated  in honor of Steven R. Lindsey’s father, Dr. Daniel C. Lindsey who was a ‘Master Teacher’ and Stillwater High School Assistant Principal from 1968—1973.
