Story by Ammie Bryant, Editor
Sometimes when we are out and about around town, cool products, services, or experiences catch our attention, or we stumble upon a hidden gem that we want to share with our readers throughout the community. Stillwater has so many great things to offer, we can’t help but to crow about it!
Dibble & Son Furniture and Photoart Gallery, 119 E. 9th Ave.
This summer, we commissioned Dibble & Son to build a custom entertainment center for our family room. Not only were we thrilled with the job that Terry Dibble did in creating the piece but each time we visited the store, we were struck by all the great decor and art available. If you are looking for locally, handmade furniture or something to put the finishing touches on your space, we urge you to visit Dibble and Son. We especially love these “Stillwater Oklahoma” inspired accents!
Butter Bean, 505 S. Main St.
I always thought Butter Bean was a baby/toddler store. I was wrong! Butter Bean carries the latest fashions for all ages. I also discovered that Butter Bean carries practically indestructible Frogskin Bags. Durable, lightweight, and waterproof, Frogskin Bags “provide superior protection in water, sand, snow, and dirt.” These are good for outdoor adventures but also could be great back to school and workout bags too.
As we head back to school, you’re probably looking to update your fan fashions and gear. Butter Bean has two entire rooms dedicated to OSU, OU, and Stillwater Pioneers merchandise as well as fan-inspired fashions beyond the gameday t-shirt.
