The Stillwater Community Singers invites the community to their free Annual Holiday Concert to be held at the Stillwater Community Center in the Winfrey Houston Theater (located between 8th and 9th off of Duck Street in Stillwater, Oklahoma) at 7:30 pm on December 14th, 2023.
Music selections for this concert are sure to bring to mind Christmas memories through familiar tunes such as Frosty the Snowman, Happy Holidays, White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow, O Holy Night, and Silent Night. The Women’s Chorus will introduce a stunning new piece called Winter’s Heart and we will all enjoy the premiere performance of our new Acapella group.
Special moments in this concert will be found through the Glockenspiel chimes added by Marcus Mellor in Frosty the Snowman and the touching vocal solo by Allie Williams in Noel. Kim Strom’s piano medley of tunes from Christmas movies is sure to entertain. To cap off the event, the Stillwater Band’s own Kent Taylor pulls out his trumpet for Joyful, Joyful to the World.
