There’s less than one month left before the 39th Annual Stillwater Arts Festival kicks off in Downtown Stillwater April 15–17, 2016.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to head downtown to experience one of Stillwater’s signature springtime events. The Stillwater Arts Festival features 100 juried artists selling a variety of artwork, jewelry, and more, as well as an extensive food court, artist demonstrations, and a children’s activity area.
The festival also offers an impressive lineup of Oklahoman musicians throughout the weekend, beginning with Downtown Stillwater’s Fridays, Food Trucks, and Tunes event Friday, April 15 at 6 p.m.
“The pairing of Fridays, Food Trucks and, Tunes and the Stillwater Arts Festival is a great combination,” Entertainment Coordinator Stephanie Kinder said. “Festival participants will have the opportunity to see nationally-recognized artists at no cost, dine at a variety of food trucks and get a sneak peak at the festival.”
The Stillwater Arts Festival begins Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and continues Sunday, April 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This is my sixth year at the Stillwater Arts Festival, and it’s one of the best shows I’ve attended,” said Shane Glover, 2015 Festival Choice Award winner and the 2016 Festival’s featured artist.
Glover’s artwork is featured on this year’s festival poster.
