“Human Form” exhibit opening Thursday, Feb. 13

Modella Gallery is delighted to share the exhibit Human Form, which focuses on the works of twelve artists demonstrating various interpretations of this theme. The exhibit runs Feb. 13 through Mar. 7, 2020, with an opening reception on Thur., Feb. 13, 5:30-7:30 pm. 

This exhibit highlights the inner-workings, controversy, beauty, and candid nature of the human essence. These artists are using a mixture of media to emphasize themes in human form and what it represents to them. Artists include: Ken Crowder, Gianna Martucci Fink, Rebekah Griffith, Jennifer Johnson, Micheal Jones, Trace Logan, Brian Mitchell, Cheryl Capps Roach, Audrey Schmitz, Kitra Smith, Sean Tyler, and Mo Wassell. 

Organized by Modella Art Gallery, Human Form is the result of Oklahoma artists contributing to the on-going discussion of what it means to be human. 

Modella Gallery is a non-profit art gallery dedicated to bringing contemporary arts to Stillwater, Oklahoma. The gallery continues to be a program designed to share the works from national and local artists, visual art, musical performances, and hosts special events and projects. Modella Gallery is located at 721 South Main Street in historic downtown Stillwater, Oklahoma. The hours are Thursday and Friday 5 to 8pm, Saturday 11am to 5pm, and Sunday 11am to 3pm.
