Poetry at Modella

Poetry Circle

Do you enjoy the velvet sound of the words cinnamon and corduroy? Do you have a favorite sonnet? Or do you cherish the skipping allegretto of your grandchildren’s dance upon the patio?

If so, join in a poetry circle—a group discussion centered on a primary poem or poetic theme–led by Dr. Belinda Bruner at Modella Art Gallery Sat., Feb. 22, 11:30 am. Bruner will read and then lead in an activity or experience based on the predetermined poem.

Why a poetry circle? Designed for curious adults, this group will meet monthly and will use poetry to improve your understanding of abstract ideas, to awaken your creative side, and to celebrate with others the pure joy of sound and meaning while working together.
