Michelle Crew is a Career Consultant at Oklahoma State’s College of Education. She is currently working on her Ph. D. in Educational Leadership. Michelle and her husband Kevin have a ten year old daughter, Kaelynn. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, antique shopping, and being outside. She came into LaRitz salon & Spa after her daughter and mother-in-law returned home looking beautiful. Michelle wanted to feel beautiful too and hopefully look five years younger.

When stylist Heather Gaut first met Michelle, she had dark salt and pepper gray hair. Her length was past her shoulders with no shape left. Heather wanted to take her hair lighter all over. She decided to make Michelle’s hair a light brown with subtle highlights. Heather cut about four inches from her length and added long layers to maintain weight above the shoulders. To flatter her face shape, Heather framed around Michelle’s chin and created volume at the crown. To prep the blow out, Heather applied Redken’s Stay High gel-mousse. This adds high-hold volume with beautiful shine. After round brushing, Heather used the smoothing iron on her sides and Quick Tease, a back combing hairspray. Forceful humidity spray was applied to protect her new style.

Heather was excited to try bareMinerals Skinsorials NEW skincare collection on Michelle. She first applied Skin Longevity (vital power infusion) all over. After letting it set, Heather used Bare Haven (essential moisturizing soft cream) for a perfect moisture balance. Prime Time BB primer in Light was applied next to ensure a perfect foundation application. BareSkin brightening serum foundation in Bare Natural gave Michelle the neutralizing and coverage she needed. The Skinny Dip was used for contouring and a lighter BareSkin foundation was used as a highlighter. The One was the perfect blush for Michelle’s skin tone. Michelle has beautiful green eyes so Heather accentuated them by using Waltz (soft pink taupe) all over the lid and Valet (toffee sheen) in the crease. Lash Domination mascara and 8pm waterproof liner finished her eyes. Michelle had naturally great eyebrows so Heather just defined them with the Dark brow pencil. Michelle’s lips were lined and colored with Thrilled and Break Away. To create the airbrush look, Heather applied Original Mineral Veil.

We were amazed at the transformation Michelle went through. She truly looks ten years younger! Her friends and family greeted her with gasps and their jaws dropped.
