We all know leaders who naturally cultivate close and connected personal and professional relationships. The fruits of their hard work include trust, mutual appreciation and strong partnerships that weather the seasons of change — even when times are tough. How can you become a person who makes deep investments in your relationships with others without getting too close in the process?
On March 29, during the Elevate Leadership series co-sponsored by the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Technology Center, Natalie Ambrose will present “The Power of Relational Leadership.” This session will help you evaluate how naturally relational you are and help you consider steps to grow in this aspect of leadership.
Natalie Ambrose knows about connecting with audiences. Her extensive experience in theatre as a voice-over artist, director, acting coach and lighting designer has given her a unique perspective on what it takes to build relationships with others.
Ambrose has a bachelor of communication arts with an emphasis in theatre from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in theatre directing from Oklahoma State University. She is also trained in the Suzuki method of learning music, long- and short-form improvisation with Regina Saisi, and the John Basil method of interpreting Shakespearean text.
Ambrose has taught Intermediate Acting at the Chickasaw Arts Academy and has worked with the Oklahoma Arts Institute. She is currently a lecturer in the theatre department at Oklahoma State University.
