OKLAHOMA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® ANNOUNCES 2022 HONOREES

The Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® (OAR) recently revealed the 2022 award recipients for its annual awards program. Winners were announced during the association’s business building and networking event, ROAR, held this year at the Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa. During the three-day conference, REALTORS® also receive continuing education through leadership training and expert panels which is a staple to the real estate industry.

This year, OAR honored its REALTOR® of the Year, Life Member, Good Neighbors of the Year and the recipient of the Harriett Wagnon Executive Achievement Award.

Claudette Thornton, a member of the Stillwater Board of REALTORS®, received this year’s REALTOR® of the Year award. The Broker/Owner of ONE BROKER PLACE, a real estate company specializing in residential and commercial real estate sales and development, Claudette is continually active in the Stillwater community and has served as a passionate board member for Stillwater Group Homes, Inc. for more than 22 years. Qualifications for this award include distinguished and outstanding service to the industry, an elevated level of civic service, activity within the National Association of REALTORS® and more.

The 2022 Life Member recognized is Janiece Vinson of the Southern Oklahoma Board of REALTORS® for her years of dedication and commitment to OAR.

The 2022 Oklahoma Good Neighbor Award recipients are Brenda McGrew, Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®,for her work with the KW Kare Bears organization in Oklahoma City and Lynn Dunn, Northwest Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® for her work with the 4RKids Foundation in Enid, OK.
